For being a hotel lobby restaurant the place was pretty good. Prices were not outrageous but definitely expensive. The service was generally pretty terrible when sitting down at a table however the bar was pretty good. It took almost 20 min to get a server to our table one time for breakfast. By no means would i consider this a fast place to stop by. The food was actually pretty good considering. The maple chicken is tasty. Chimichurri wings were good. Breakfast was great with the exception of the service. Great coffee. Worth hitting up if you are staying at the Marriot or nearby hotel. Also look at a few of the other restaurants in the other hotels. The soshito peppers were delicious.
Service was very friendly and helpful Food was flavorful and fresh! Highly recommend the wings and watermelon salad
This is without a doubt the best in-hotel restaurant dinner I have ever had. Kudos to the chefs. Bone-in pork chop at the server's suggestion and an espresso chocolate torte. Amazing. Service was meh, but friendly. Atmosphere was as you would expect in a hotel eatery, but very comfortable and lively.
Nice restaurant in the Marriott next to McCormick Place. The bartenders were friendly and provided quick service. We started with the candied bacon and it did not disappoint. Nice maple flavor with a little bit of chew. We also had the pork chop and the chimmichuri portobello sandwich. The pork chop was tender and had a little bit of a char, which added to the smokey flavor. The portbello sandwich was delicious, and the chimmichuri was excellent.
Day 1: Nice restaurant. Great food. Enjoyed the blackened salmon and corn - absolutely delicious. Desserts were just ok - but presentation was fantastic. Great service and ambience in the restaurant is quite nice. Day 3: I Came back again for day 3 of my conference - enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the bar! Food- excellent, Service- excellent.... Sean was my bartender and he was so attentive, kind and made sure that every aspect of my meal was delightful. He recommended a wonderful dessert to compliment my meal - super yummy! A+ for me I will definitely pop in for a visit next time I am in Chicago.
Excellent service! Menue was limited but if was definitely tasty. Drinks were amazing!
Arrived in Chicago late on a Sunday and thought we had to "settle" for the hotel restaurant. There was no settling! This place is the real deal, with a nice atmosphere, good beers and delicious burgers. The rest of the menu looked good, but this review is about a 10pm burger run that was nicely satisfied
Woven and Bound at Marriott Marquis in Chicago is an exceptional dining experience. The ambiance is inviting, the menu is diverse, and the service is impeccable. The dishes are beautifully presented and bursting with flavors. From the roasted beet salad to the grilled salmon and chocolate lava cake, every bite is a delight. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, ensuring a memorable evening. I highly recommend Woven and Bound for a fantastic dining experience in Chicago.
So I don't get all the bad reviews, especially regarding the service. I just finished eating here, yes staying at the hotel, and it was a great experience. Everyone behind the bar asked me how i was doing. Had a great Manhattan, and the burger was one of the best I've had. Good space. Stop by, you won't be disappointed.
Located next to the McCormic Place which is a Convention Centre, this restaurant is attached to Marriot Marquis. Considering the proximity to the convention center, prices can be expected to be higher than normal, but comparatively, options for food were good though limited. We came here for lunch and got the Portobello sandwich, hurricane sprouts, potato wedges and coffee. The sandwich was pretty good with the mushrooms being a big part of it, the sprouts was an interesting item, it was kind of barbecue roasted with a little cream on top, was nice. The wedges had the right spice and complimented well. A decent place for lunch around the area.
